Highly Active Alkali-depressant Powder For Efflorescence Control In Mortar Systems

Alkali-depressant is a highly active powder additive used to control efflorescence in mortar systems. It provides good workability and wettability, and is suitable for cement-based, gypsum-based, lime-based, and other inorganic cementitious material mortars. It is also compatible with cellulose ether, redispersible polymer powder, superplasticizer, early strength agent, retarder, and other common mortar additives.

Through multiple action mechanisms, this product helps inhibit alkali-related problems in mortar. The special highly active substances can quickly consume alkali, while helping reduce the water-cement ratio and improve compactness, thereby reducing alkali migration. When added properly, it can eliminate or significantly reduce primary and secondary efflorescence. At the same time, it helps improve color stability and brightness, maintain the long-term aesthetic appearance of buildings, and enhance surface hydrophobic performance.

Dosage & Formula Guide

Recommended dosage: 0.5%-4.5%, depending on the final demand for the product. It is recom-mended toshorten the mixing time as much as possible, too strong stirring will introduce excess bubbles. The mixtureshould be allowed to sit for a few moments before use.
