Purpose:
Tiamulin (fumarate) is a class of diterpenoid Veterinary Drugs, which is widely used to control infectious diseases of pigs, including swine dysentery and endemic pneumonia.
Effect:
Tamoxigenin is a kind of antibacterial antibiotic belonging to Pleurotus truncatus, but it has bactericidal effect on sensitive bacteria at very high concentration. Like macrolide antibiotics, tamoxigenin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to ribosomal 50S subunit.
Tamoxifen has good antibacterial activity against many Gram-positive bacteria including most Staphylococcus and Streptococcus (except group D Streptococcus), as well as Mycoplasma and Treponema hybridum. In addition to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, some Escherichia coli and some Klebsiella strains, the antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria is very weak.
Tamoxifen is mainly used to treat pneumonia, Treponema dysentery caused by sensitive Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae in pigs and chronic respiratory diseases in chickens.
